I'm a sophomore Broadcast Journalism student from Santa Monica, CA. Santa Monica is on the outskirts of LA county and I live 6 blocks from the Pacific Ocean. The temperature's between 65 and 85 all year, so naturally I came to Syracuse.
I came here because I want to be a play-by-play an announcer and Newhouse churns out journalists. Hopefully it lives up to it's reputation.
One of my favorite sites to follow is deadspin.com, precisely because it doesn't have a reputation to worry about, leading to much more interesting stories than the Worldwide Leader. But it's currently football season, so don't expect to see me on Saturdays; college football is my absolute passion.
